Abstract EN

The current study aims to identify the relationship between Islamic values and the light triad of personality for the students of king Abdul-Aziz university.

the study has adopted the correlational survey methodology, for it suits the nature of the study, and used two tools prepared by the researchers, which are the scale of Islamic values and the scale of the light triad of personality.

the tools have been applied to the study sample, which was randomly selected from the study population, and amounted to (840) male and female students at king Abdul-Aziz university.

the findings of the study have indicated a high degree of practice of Islamic values and a high level of the light triad of personality and its aspects for the students.

moreover, the findings have revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the practice of Islamic values and its aspects, and the light triad of personality and its aspects.

it has been proven that the light triad of personality and its aspects can be predicted through the total degree of practice of Islamic values for the current study respondents.

the study has made some several recommendations, most importantly, improving and providing the courses taught at all stages of education, including the undergraduate education, with rich stimulating activities that contribute to the spread and practice of Islamic and human values in all fields of applied and human sciences ; in addition to raising university students’ awareness of the importance of practice of Islamic and human values and their positive impact on the development individuals and society as a whole through educational lectures at the university.
