Allegorical images had a prominent presence in the poetry of Ibn Shams Al-Khilafa ; as one of the stylistic axes ; in its production, it relies on deviation from the normative language, producing new formations drawn from the poet's thought and conscience.

represented by its three types, however, the diagnostic metaphor outperformed its anthropomorphic and suggestive counterparts from a semantic point of view, which revealed the nature of the poet’s pure personality, which often tends to prefer the diagnosis and identification of abstracts when artistically expressed, and from a linguistic point of view, the descriptive compound came in all forms of metaphor the linguistic structure of the metaphorical image varied between the nominal, actual and additional compound ; the signs of stability appeared with the nominal compound, while the actual compound indicated the movement to lean on the event.
