Abstract EN

This study aims to develop a proposed plan to determine the procedures and requirements necessary for the application internet of things technology in school library information services in the state of Kuwait in line with technological development.

the plan was based on the study population consisting of (139) and a study of the actual reality of a sample of (17) libraries of girls' secondary schools located in the Ahmadi area.

developed by the Arab federation of libraries, and based on the working mechanism of advanced libraries based on the internet of things in the world, and the applications that can be used to operate internet of things libraries.

in all of this, it relied on the descriptive analytical method to achieve the objectives of the study.

among the most important findings it reached : the need to provide a set of technologies and electronic equipment necessary to implement the internet of things in the schools under study, and the development of information services in school libraries in line with technological development and the necessary executive procedures for it, and the weak budget of school libraries and their inability to build an existing school library on the internet of things.
