The complaints mechanism is considered as one of the most important international procedural mechanisms that is designed to curb human rights violations at the national level, by giving individuals and groups supranational remedy, limiting the internal sovereignty of states, and by submitting complaints within the framework of the united nations system either through its convention mechanisms (i.e.

the committees established under international human rights conventions that consider individual complaints only after domestic remedies), or other mechanisms (any other mechanisms other than the convention, the subject of the study) which is concerned with individual and collective complaints alike, which show by documented evidence the consistent pattern of gross violations of human rights, and this is clear in procedures no.
