Abstract EN

This study aims at determining the degree of contribution of the country’s social policies in enhancing sustainable development in Egyptian countryside.

This study is an analytic descriptive one.

Thus, the researcher relied on social sample survey.

The researcher conducted a field study using questionnaire method in a governorate with a rural nature, which is Al-Menoufia governorate.

The field study was applied on a purpose sample of (210 individuals) who work at three entities related to decent life program.

They are the employees of the General office of Al Menoufia governorate, the directorate of social affairs and workers of related projects.

The field study concluded that there are 17 indicators of sustainable development, eleven of which came at a very high level, at the top of them the poverty eradication indicator with a mean of (4.89).

Education support and education achievement indicator with a mean of (4.87) follows this indicator then comes gender equality indicator with a mean of (4.85).

Subsequently, the indicator of promoting good health for community members comes with a mean of (4.80).

The eradication of hunger came in the fifth rank with a mean of (4.78), followed by the sixth indicator economic development with a mean of 7)7744(
