Abstract EN

This study aimed to prove the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral program to reduce emotional sensitivity and improve social interaction among adolescents with cochlear implants.

the study sample consisted of (62) adolescents with cochlear implants, their ages ranged between (11-17) years, with an average age of (13.81) years, and a standard deviation of (± 1.90) years, (35) adolescent girls, whose ages ranged between (11-11).

17 years old, with a mean age of (13.54) years, and a standard deviation of (± 1.82) years.

the emotional sensitivity scale (prepared by the researcher) and the social interaction scale (prepared by Abdul-Aziz al-Shakhs, 2012) were applied to them.

the results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post measurements of each of the (emotional sensitivity and social interaction scales), and there are significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the post and follow-up measurements in the post and follow-up measurements for each of (the two measures of emotional sensitivity and social interaction).
