This research explores the Explicitation hypothesis and its history in translation studies specially the studies which aims to examin the hypothesis and make a typology of Explicitation and its strategies.

In the application of one of that studies (V.

Pápai 2004) this research have to do with some of specialized Arabic linguistic translation texts to find out the Explicitation strategies utalized in that texts at hand as one of the potential universals of Explicitation features and on another hand to make the translators awearness of its strategies and textual levels clear.
