Research topic: The mental maturity of Al-Faruq- may God be pleased with him- an objective modern study.

Research Objectives: Showing the virtues of Al- Faruq Omar Ibn Al-Khattab- may God be pleased with him- and his fame with insightful vision and the right mind.

He revealed that some orientalists and their secular followers challenged his jurisprudence for allegedly disrupting the texts, and putting his mind ahead of them.

Highlighting the need of scholars and people of ijtihad in the modern era to set an example for the implementation of the spirit of Sharia, especially in following up on emerging calamities.

Research methodology: descriptive, inductive, analytical, critical approach.

The most important results of the research: Omar may Allah be pleased with him was characterized by acumen and intelligence, but he was characterized by genius, which is one of the rare qualities, did not violate the text of the Qur'an and Sunnah, and did not disrupt their texts- as he was accused of doing -, and the transfer of the state from the tribal system to the institutional system with his correct jurisprudence and mental maturity.

The most important recommendations: There is still an urgent need to study more of the ideas of Omar bin Al- Khattab and benefit from them in the modern era, in addition to studying and analyzing the ideas of some companions such as Ali bin Abi Talib, for example, Al- Mughira bin Shu'ba or Amr bin Al-Aas- may God be pleased with them- who were famous for their intelligence and intelligence.
