العبودية هي فترة من أكثر فترات التاريخ الإنساني قتامة و بؤسا.
ذاقت الشعوب الإفريقية فيها على مدار قرنين من الزمان جميع صنوف العذاب من اصطياد وحشي و قتل و تعذيب على يد الاوروبيين.
إلا أنه في الوقت الحالي تتعالى الأصوات في الغرب التي تدعى أن العبودية الأوروبية تحيط بها الكثير من المبالغات و المغالطات وأن العالم عليه أن يلتفت إلى تجارة العبيد التي مارسها العرب لأكثر من عشرة قرون و كانت وفقا لادعاءاتهم أشد ضراوة و أكثر انتشارا من العبودية الغربية.
إحدى هذه الأصوات هي كاتبة الرواية محل الدراسة و التي تعطى وصفا تفصيليا لتجارة العبيد في السودان في النصف الثاني من القرن التاسع عشر من خلال روايتها المستوحاة من قصة حقيقية لامرأة سودانية تم أسرها و استعبادها من تجار العبيد العرب في تلك الفترة.
نحاول من خلال البحث عرض وجهة نظر الكاتبة الفرنسية و تحليل الشخصيات التي رسمتها في روايتها بغرض تحديد مدى التحامل أو الإنصاف الذي تناولت به هذه القضية الشائكة.
Abstract EN
Slavery is one of the most miserable periods in human history.
Over two centuries, African peoples tested all kinds of suffering: brutal hunting, killing, and torture by the Europeans.
However, at the present time, many voices in the West claim that a lot of exaggerations and fallacies surround European slavery and that the world should pay more attention to the slave trade practiced by Arfor more than ten centuries as it is more ferocious and widespread One of these voices is the writer of the novel under study.
Through her story, she gives a detailed description of the slave trade in Sudan in the second half of the nineteenth century.
We try through our research to present her point of view and analyze the characters she drew in her novel to determine the extent of prejudice or fairness with which she addressed this thorny issue.
