Abstract EN

This research aims at revealing the significance of titles in the Lahbib Esseaih's novels: Zaman Ennumrud, Daka Alhanine, Tamasakhate, and al Mawte fi Wahrane, through analysing them from the lexical, syntactical, and phonological aspects, so as to find a relationship between title and the novel content, according to a period that each novel represents in the Algerian contemporary history that upon each of the novels and the context of its writing.

the most important results that this study comes to are that Lahbib Esseaih has carefully selected his titles so as to depict reality that consists in the multidimensional crises that Algeria has crossed since our independence, and the results of that over almost the different sectors.
