Abstract EN

The topic includes a field study of the structure of the criminal act of the criminal group in the neighborhood of Sidi Salem - Annaba state - a model, which is considered a social phenomenon associated with various societies despite their different values, standards and social rules, and Algeria is one of the societies affected by this phenomenon.

The social organization, which Durkheim sees as part of the social system, is linked to it, as it is permanent in its permanence and continuous in its continuity.

The “analytical descriptive” approach using the “case study” technique, so that the sample represented an “intentional sample” consisting of five cases from the study community “Sidi Salem neighborhood”, and among the data collection tools we used “observation by living” and the “in-depth interview” guide.

Among the results obtained to highlight the relationship between the structure and the criminal act were as follows:  The poor and marginalized social environment plays a role in building the criminal act because the individual acquires his behavior from the groups with which he lives (the social milieu).

 The deterioration of the economic, social, cultural and political situation leads to delinquency and crime, and thus criminal groups are formed specialized in committing various crimes such as organizing illegal immigration through death boats, selling drugs, theft crimes.

 That the structure of the criminal act of criminal groups is formed according to the social system through the existence of an interconnected relationship between the structure responsible for the process of organizing the forms of the social system and the criminal act.
