The twenty-first century constitutes an inevitable stage to reformulate the international system in which the major powers were battling to lead the world before, and this system moved from bilateralism to the unipolar system, in which the USA represented the sole superpower dominating the international scene after the fall of the Union Soviet attempts to change the unilateral pattern of the international system appeared with Russia's desire to restore its position and role in the international system, and to weaken American hegemony in its traditional areas of influence, including the Middle East, which has always been considered a logic; Geostrategic because of its great importance to the major powers, as Russia has strategic interests that it seeks to develop and pragmatic goals that it aspires to achieve in the Middle East.
