The modern Arabic poem dealt with the childhood in its most beautiful form, and the poets embodied that great love that fathers have for their children, and they expressed that love with sincere meanings in which paternal passion was manifested and love was the most beautiful embodiment.

They pass quickly.

However, the poet Ahmed Shawqi distinguished himself from the poets of his time by the abundance of his poems in mentioning his children, tracing the different stages of their childhood in poetic form that carries within it all forms of intimate relationship, longing and nostalgia for them, especially if he is ent from them.

The study concluded that the poet Ahmed Shawqi represents a new trend in modern Arabic poetry that implicitly calls for attention to children and immortalizing their childhood in the memory of Arab poetry.
