If grammar is rules and proofs, so is rhetoric, then proof is meant to be the pinnacle of eloquence and rhetoric, so the ancient writers insisted on their proof being in this form, and they have found no better than the Holy Book of God in which these characteristics are represented, for the true standard of argument is the standard of eloquence and purity, and protection from perversion, thus he who bears weakness in his language and mixes his words with nonsense cannot be an example to follow, and this criterion was sufficient to lay the places of beauty and taste in rhetoric on strong and firm pillars, from which we reap the fruits in a rhetorical product rich in evidence, whether in the science of meanings or in the art of tropes, or the art of schemes.
