This study aims to address the repercussions of the digital gap on Algerian national security, understanding the latter in its extensive meaning of citizen and society security.

The study concludes that there are multiple causes; indicators and manifestations of the digital gap, therefore there is a need to adopt proactive confronting mechanisms against new technological security threats.
