Abstract EN

This study aims to clarify how Algeria can benefit from the legitimate methods of financing its public budget deficit in light of the limited traditional financing methods to contain it in the light of the Sudanese experience as a pioneering experience in this field, using the descriptive and analytical method.

The study concluded that the legitimate financing methods represented mainly in Islamic sukuk and zakat are the perfect alternative to financing the public budget deficit in Algeria, due to their consistency and compatibility with the religious values and beliefs prevailing in society, in addition to their reliance on real, permanent and stable resources, So, Islamic instruments are based on mobilizing resources and financing government investment projects that constitute a great financial burden for the state, especially infrastructure projects.

and Zakat plays an important role in alleviating the burden of the state's general budget, thus contributing to achieving its financial balance by covering an important part of social expenditures.

if Algeria wants to think seriously about the post-oil phase, this can only be done by following the example of the Sudanese experience by creating the appropriate environment for the issuance and circulation of Islamic sukuk and paying more attention to the Zakat Foundation
