The Polish Orientalist School is one of the schools that have been interested in the Arab heritage in general and the Ibadi Maghreb in particular.

The book Akhbar al-Imams al-Rustamiyyin by Ibn al-Saghir al-Maliki is one of the rare books that dated the Rustumiya Dynasty in Middle Maghreb, and the book was known only after itscontent was published from a lost manuscript that was in the possession of the Polish orientalist De Calacente Motilinski in 1905 atthe Orientalist Conference in Algiers.

Ibn al-Saghir's book is considered the only reference that was experienced and contemporary of the Rustamanian Dynasty, and although copies have recently been discovered, Motilinski's essay is an important reference for the manuscript as long as the original copy is missingAccordingly, who is Motilinski?
