Abstract EN

The present study seeks to extrapolate and analyze the various existing legislations at the regional, international, and local levels that arc concerned with the protection of children's rights, and fall within the context of optimal care for the relevant aspects of the issue ; especially those aimed at controlling media contents directed to children for the purpose of protecting them ; mainly, from all forms of violence and abuse, since they represent ; nowadays, the most important segment of society, given the size of the aspirations that countries and modern regimes rely on to achieve a upbringing for them.

additionally, taking into account the specificity of the fragile environment of childhood, which has become affected in a different and unusual way with media production provided by the digital environment, this; in fact, would prejudice the controls approved by the legislation and intersect with the set of basic commitments embraced by organizations and international actors in their vision towards ensuring a positive interaction between media and childhood, and according to this proposition and based on the descriptive analytical approach, the study aims to monitor the effectiveness of these legislations in drawing a practical approach that provides a safe environment for these children in their relationship with the media, in a manner that guarantees the embodiment of their full and undiminished media rights, without restriction or negligence on the one hand.

within this context, monitoring its efficacy in compatibility with the outputs of digital transformation and the new media, with its varying extension and unlimited will, without neglecting to present new proposals and recommendations that would provide intermediate mechanisms and a series that contribute firmly to realizing the desired purpose, and arc reflected in the required form in the consecration of media rights.

for the child, as these aforementioned mechanisms remain useless on their own, especially in the context of digital interaction, and they need further enrichment and evaluation derived from perceptions emanating from the lexicon of ethical and professional principles of media.
