The veil has created so much controversy in the Western world and particularly in France.
Our objective is to compare the feminist discourse on the veil between Diam’s, the native Frenchwoman, converted to Islam, wearing the veil and Fawzia Zouari, a woman of Arab Muslim origin, who is against the wearing of the veil.
A socio critical analysis of “I am not Diam's” by Tunisian Fawzia Zouari will allow us to respond to our problem: Will the representation of the veil between Fawzia Zouari and Diam's mark the opposition between an Eastern feminism and another Western? ? Is the representation of the veil a matter of discord and subjection or emancipation and freedom?

Le voile a créé tant de polémique dans le monde occidental et particulièrement en France.
Notre objectif qui est de comparer le discours féministe sur le voile entre Diam's, la française de souche, convertie à l'islam, portant le voile et Fawzia Zouari, une femme d'origine arabo-musulmane, qui est contre le port du voile.
Une analyse sociocritique de « Je ne suis pas Diam's » de la tunisienne Fawzia Zouari, nous permettra de répondre à notre problématique: La représentation du voile entre Fawzia Zouari et Diam's marquera-t-il l'opposition entre un féminisme orientale et un autre occidental? La représentation du voile relève-t-elle de la discorde et la sujétion ou d'émancipation et de liberté?
