Summary: Children's literature is one of the literary arts that is primarily concerned with the child and consists of a group of literary genres, some of which are related to prose such as stories and novels, and those related to poetry such as lyrical theater and chants.

By relying on the eloquent educational language and expanding his imagination through the characters and scenes that attract the child's attention, the writer also tries to write starting from his social surroundings and transmitting some pictures and scenes and even the characters that surround him and this to draw his attention and thus children's literature is one of the literary arts that form the child in a sound formation.

This study was concerned with children's stories as a form of children's literature in a theoretical study in its definition and application through some of the works of Fadel Al Kaabi.
