Abstract EN

This study aims to know the effect of the volatility of the Algerian dinar exchange rate against both the US dollar and the Euro on foreign trade during the period 2000 to 2020.

We uses the descriptive analytical methodology and annual data during the period.

The result is that the Algerian Dinar exchange rate against the US Dollar and the Euro not a competitive tool to raise exports and Reduce imports, This is because of the weakness of national production, unilateral export, competitiveness and diversity.
