Arbitration aims to settle disputes arising from various aspects of intellectual property within WIPO by highlighting the organization's arbitration centre.

In view of the importance of arbitration as one of the means of settling intellectual disputes arising from the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Centre, and given the particular nature of such disputes and their impact on States, the specificity of arbitration for the parties and the subject matter of the dispute had to be highlighted as well as the practical aspect of arbitration through talk of the instrument's proceedings.
