The phenomenon of drugs is one of the dangerous social phenomena that have swept the human world.

It is one of the thorny issues, and the focus of attention of societies all over the world.

This scourge has affected all age spectrums of all kinds, and has penetrated into sensitive age groups, especially adolescents.

It is incumbent upon the concerned authorities to confront this dilemma at the present time and to strive continuously to treat drug addicts, and to educate those who wish to take drugs by delving into its various dangerous consequences.

Therefore, this study called for addressing the scourge of drugs from a sociological point of view, and to take note of the main reasons for making it prevalent in most circles, and to find radical solutions to reduce this social phenomenon.
