The ancient and modern Arab linguists were interested in the making of dictionaries in various fields of knowledge, to which the Algerian linguist had a great contribution.

the linguistic research in Algeria has taken a wide spread due to the linguists' interest in the linguistic phenomenon.

their efforts are represented through developing compilations, books and glossaries whose purpose is to discover the secrets of Arabic language and its levels.

among these Algerian linguists who contributed to making dictionaries are : Youssef Bin Issa Bin Saleh Atfayesh (1914), author of the statement of statement in the science of the statement and the clarification of the evidence for the knowledge of al-Khalil, Ahmed Bin Shihab al-Din Abu al-Abbas al-Khalouf (1494) the author of Moajam Tahrir Almizan Litashih Alawzan, and the author of the dictionary of “transitive terms with the letter” Musa al-Ahmadi Nwiwat, the subject of our research.

this research paper seeks to introduce students and specialists to the dictionary of transitive words by one letter by the Algerian linguist Moussa al-Ahmadi Nwiwat.
