The study aimed to identify the repercussions of home quarantine and social distancing measures as a preventive medicine against the “COVID-19” virus on the psychology of the child, as the latter is living in a situation contrary to his instinct that makes him love to belong to the group and freedom of movement and play, but with the emergence of the Corona pandemic he found himself forced to abide by some of the imposed measures as ways to prevent this virus, and to know the consequences of these measures on the psychological aspect of the child from the family’s perspective, we chose a sample of families living in the urban center of the municipality of Tebessa, relying on the questionnaire tool to collect data and we chose the descriptive approach as a research method, and after delving into in the course of the study, we concluded that the procedures of quarantine and social distancing resulted in a restriction of the child’s freedom by preventing him from doing things that were recently considered one of his greatest interests, such as school and entertainment spaces, and this means that this pandemic extended to touch the psychological aspect in addition to the organic and biological aspect.
