The African Sahel region is one of the most important regions for attracting competition in the world, and perhaps western interventions in this region have not subsided since ancient times, as it acquires many different minerals, so this study aims to show the components of the African Sahel region and the most important components it contains, in addition to focusing on the the secret of western interventions, including the French, on this region, and the study concluded with a number of results, perhaps the most important of which is the link between security and development in these areas and the activation of regional and international actors' organizations to protect these areas from the plundering of colonial states of their oil and mineral resources.

stabilizing this region first, then investing in these areas and stopping the encroachment coming from these countries towards the West bank from the Mediterranean.
