Abstract EN

This study aims to find out the impact of oil price shocks on Algeria's economic general equilibrium between 2000 and 2020، based on annual series data for all study variables، and using a model of )VECM(The results showed that positive oil price shocks positively affect both gross domestic product (GDP)، inflation، unemployment and a negative response to the balance of payments، while the Negative shock leads to imbalances in the overall economic balanceConsequently، there is an inverse relationship between the price of oil and the balance of payments، and a direct relationship between the price of oil، the GDP، inflation and unemployment.
