Abstract EN

This research deals with the structural trilogies in the Glorious Qur’an.

in this regard, structural trilogies mean three orderly sequenced structures or commands within a context in a Surah or in one Ayah or more, through which the intended meaning will be completed for the recipient.

Accordingly, he / she understands that meaning and interacts with it positively or negatively, in this research, however, the imperative mood is chosen to elucidate this idea depending on samples from which all the semantic phenomena that surrounding the trilogies were selected.

as there are a lot of semantic phenomena, they include the four linguistic levels, i.e.

phonetics, morphology, syntax, and semantics (the last one will be relied on in this research).

moreover, under each of these levels a set of semantic phenomena in those trilogies can be found.

after spotting the imperative mood in the Glorious Qur’an, these phenomena were traced as much as possible, and then they were organized in a table to clarify them.

consequently, some samples were taken from the table to be analyzed using the depictive analytical method according to what the imperative mood in the Qur’anic context requires through revealing their semantic purposes such as correlation, hyperbaton and semantic guidance of the Qur’anic reading in addition to some other purposes.
