Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the level of teachers' beliefs towards using lesson research in practices in basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman and its relationship to some variables.

To achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers used the quantitative descriptive approach, by preparing a belief scale consisting of (35) phrases distributed over five areas, and after verifying the validity and reliability of the tool, it was applied to a sample of (103) male and female teachers.

The results of this study revealed that the level of teachers' beliefs about the use of lesson research in the classroom situation in basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman came to a degree of strongly agree with an arithmetic mean (4.

24).

The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the average level of teachers' beliefs towards using the lesson research due to the variables of job and specialization, while the results revealed the presence of statistically significant differences between the average level of teachers' beliefs towards the using of lesson research.

It refers to the gender variables in favor of females, and the employment variable in favor of teachers who use the lesson research.

The researchers recommended the necessity of organizing advanced courses and holding educational concerns, concerned with training teachers in employing lesson research, and activating the role of educational supervisors in following up on teachers' employment to research the lesson.
