Rulers seek to strengthen constitutional legitimacy.

Legitimacy is an attribute that accompanies any political system in order to continue ruling, and it is based on two aspects, which are complementary to each other.

As for the other side, it is the objective “strengthening of constitutional legitimacy,” which is represented by the people’s conviction and approval of the authority.

It is the focus of our research.

And the authority that does not accomplish anything for the governed loses its legitimacy.

By doing so, constitutional legitimacy is strengthened, and vice versa.

In this context, the task of the authority is to preserve the legitimacy based on popular consent.
