Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the reality of services provided to disabled children in the public library of the wilaya of Adrar, following the children's area, by knowing the availability of office, scientific and recreational materials to develop their skills and abilities, as well as the availability of office equipment such as entrances, lifts and furniture appropriate to the nature of this category.

The study used the descriptive approach to identify the reality of these services occupied by the disabled child in the library, and in gathering information, it relied on the interview as well as the field visit, The study achieved a number of results, the most important of which is the availability of library services for disabled children to a small extent, as they do not have the spatial equipment represented in the guiding regulations, toilettes and shelves for the disabled.
