The research dealt with the takfiri discourse in Mauritania from a historical perspective to direct confrontation in the present era, through a number of sections.

The first section, dealt with the past of the takfiri discourse in the history of the Islamic Maghreb up until its first signs and manifestations in Mauritania.

The second section dealt with the present takfiri discourse and the tributaries that contributed to its growth and spread among the people.

The third section dealt with the Mauritanian government and its policy in its direct confrontation, and the tools that it used to address it.

The fourth section dealt with the future of the takfiri discourse.

The research was concluded with a presentation of the most prominent research outcomes.
