Abstract EN

Despite what archaeological research on rock art has accumulated in the Mauritanian's art in general, including the area of Tagant, many of the sites related to this field have not been studied yet.

In fact, that made us interested in defining what we stood on from them, and we will try in this study to define the most important sites close to the Al Rasheed area, in terms of the geographical coordinates and the quality of subjects with placement in its historical context, and finally the most important archaeological evidence in that scope.
