Abstract EN

This research sought to achieve the following objectives as Identifying the listening skills that must be possessed by the second level students at the Institute of Arabic Language Teaching for non-native speakers at the Islamic University in Madinah, Knowing the availability of listening skills among students at the second level of the Institute for the teaching of Arabic language for non-speakers at the Islamic University in Madinah, also Preparing a list of the foundations of designing a program based on the narrative approach to develop the listening skills of the sample group.

It also aimed to identify the impact of a program based on the narrative approach to develop the listening skills of second-level students at the Institute of Arabic Language Teaching for non-speakers at the Islamic University in Madinah.

The researcher followed the descriptive approach and the semiexperimental approach.

The research sample consisted of second-level students at the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers.

To achieve the objectives of the research, a questionnaire was prepared with listening skills, teacher's guide, learner's book, and test, and the researcher applied it to a sample of (21) students of the second level at the Institute.
