This research aims to study television talk shows using grice's theory.

the objective is to determine the extent to which these dialogues conform to the model of ordinary conversation, for which the theory was developed.

furthermore, the study explores the extent to which the theory applies to television dialogues.

through the research, the latent meanings of these dialogues are explored and illustrated in their linguistic and non-linguistic / gestural contexts.

the study analyzes selected models from a pragmatic perspective, which is divided into two sections, followed by a conclusion and a list of references.

the research concludes that television dialogues can be considered as models of conversation and that grice's theory can be applied to them.

the conversational implicature in the selected models occurs in various forms, including redundancy, repetition, metonymy, declarative and mechanical metaphor, personification, and hysteron proteron.
