This study is an attempt to identify the behavior of some of the educated elite in the event of public debating with the opposing other, given that the expected human behavior in such events tends either to acceptance or rejection.

Taking Metta bin Yunes Al-Qannaee versus Abi Saeed As-Sirafi as a case in point, the study is organized into an introduction and two sections.

the first section deals with the theoretical aspect of the debate, i.e.

concepts and literature, while the second section focuses on the practical application of such debating notions and literature.

the study concluded that the practice of debating began first an Arab alien versus outsider other end, and then as an Arab Arab versus insider other.
