Praise in the poetry of the era of the caliphate, its subjects and meanings- Ibn Hani as a Model-) A research that deals with the purpose of praise for one of the most prominent poets of the Arabic praise poem in the Arab poetic history (Ibn Hani Al-Andalusi), who was likened to (Al-Mutanabbi), and it suffices to say : Ibn Hani’ He organized an almost complete collection of poems in praise of kings, caliphs, princes and leaders.

this research studies the most praiseworthy meanings that were mentioned in the praise poems of the poet Ibn Hani, and the poetic topics through which the poet built the praise poem.

the praised meanings of Ibn Hani were mostly traditional ones.

on topics such as (generosity, heroism, conquests, and good affliction against enemies), the light was also shed in this research on the poet's praiseworthy meanings between moral and ethical qualities.
