This study aimed to identify the process of evaluating small projects, and to clarify the foundations, principles and criteria upon which the evaluation process is based, because of its great role in the success, sustainability and continuity of small projects.

This study relied on the inductive approach that is based on observation to obtain the necessary information and data for the subject of the study.

This study has many findings; The most important of which are the following: - The importance of the process of evaluating small projects in directing the attention of the concerned authorities and investors towards projects that are commensurate with their financial and administrative capabilities.

- The importance of evaluation in saving time and effort when establishing a small business - Having an optimal use of available resources - The evaluation process provides the necessary information for workers in the small business sector.
