Abstract EN

Despite the attempts of Polisario and its ally Algeria to fail the endeavors of the United Nations to find solutions to the long-living conflict In Western Sahara, by rejecting all proposals and solutions handed over by UN.

Especially the so-called «Baker Project 1», however ; Moroccan diplomacy succeeded in introducing the conflict well by revealing Moroccan historical and legal facts and ties of the region.

And to end this conflict over the Sahara, Morocco bravely proposed the Selfautonomy initiative, which is mostly approved and welcomed worldwide.

Thus, many countrieshas been lately mentioned and supported the Moroccan proposal by withdrawing their recognition of the so-called Polisario Front and by opening their consulates in the Moroccan Southern regions
