The autonomy initiative presented by Morocco, with the aim of finding a peaceful, negotiated solution to the artificial conflict in the southern provinces, is one of the most prominent real political guarantees for the conduct of regional affairs in these regions.

The growth of terrorist ideology and the rising tide of terrorist groups, which are now posing real geo-strategic challenges that mortgage the future of the region and the countries as a whole.

Which makes us wonder to what extent the autonomy initiative presented by Morocco constitutes a new philosophy for managing the system of governance in the region, given the political stakes and the strategic dimensions it presents in the light of the leading international experiences in this field.
