معوقات عمل الأخصائي الاجتماعي تجاه الأطفال بوحدات حماية الأسرة و الطفل : (دراسة حالة وحدات حماية الأسرة والطفل بولاية الخرطوم 2021 - 2022م)‎

Abstract EN

This study attempts to identify the obstacles to the work of the social worker towards children in the Family and Child Protection Units in Khartoum State.

This study used several methods, namely the descriptive analytical method, the social survey method, and the case study method to clarify the obstacles to the work of the social worker in the Family and Child Protection Units, in addition to clarifying the most important social and psychological problems experienced by children who are victims of violence (the abused) and how to deal with them on the part of the Family and Child Protection Department The social worker.

This study relied on the available sample of families of children who were subjected to abuse and reached from within the Family and Child Protection Units in Khartoum state and a comprehensive sample of all social and psychological workers working in the units.

The researcher designed two scales to test psychological and social problems Special for social workers, and an interview form for the directors of the Family and Child Protection Units in the state of Khartoum.

The validity and reliability coefficient of the two scales were chosen before applying it to collect information about the study sample, and after collecting that information, it was statistically analyzed.

The study reached the most important results.

The study concluded that the most important difficulties facing the social worker are weakness the budget allocated to psychological and social support programs, prevention and awareness programs, and field visits to the families of the victims, and the lack of work aids.

The children most exposed to abuse from families continuing to marry, followed by families who lost one of the parents due to death, and that the majority of respondents from families of victims have a secondary education level, followed by the primary education level, and that the most vulnerable children to abuse are those children who live in a shared housing with Strangers or in extended families, that most of the abused children are from families with fixed income (workers).

In addition, two letters, Children who spend most of their time on the street are being abused.
