This research aims to identify the manifestations of renewal in the weights and rhymes of the poets of the pen Association, and the importance of the research comes in highlighting the manifestations of renewal among the poets of the pen Association, which represented a prominent shift in the weights of Arabic poetry, and canceled the idea of tradition that existed in ancient Arabic poetry.

The researchers followed the descriptive analytical method, and the study reached a number of results, the most important of which: The poets of the pen Association were not satisfied with all the old hammered poetic weights, especially those with long seas, they tended to use short or fragmentary seas most of the time, and they were adept at diversifying the sounds, so they poured their poetry into selected templates that do not imitate the ancient Arabic or the modern Western.
