A critical study of George Tarabishi's thought in his book "From the Islam of the Qur'an to the Islam of Hadith" and shed light on the most important methodological defects that the writer dealt with, and made Imam Shafi'i and the suspicion of copying the Qur'an in the Sunnah in response to his fallacies that he directed to Imam Shafi'i, who is considered, in Tarabishi's view, to be fundamentally responsible for Regression and inability to develop in the Islamic legislative code.

The research concludes with several results, the most important of which are : These thinkers were influenced by many of the ideas of the orientalists of the past or their contemporaries, whether from books and specialization in the Sunnah or from those who wrote in the Qur'an, and that many of the orientalists or those affected by them among the Arab thinkers circulate many ideas and suspicions in copies The Qur'an is for the Sunnah, corrupt generalizations, selection in sources, reliance on carefully selected and and limited limited sources, and arbitrariness in understanding the texts are the firm foundations in the likening of copying the Qur'an to the Sunnah.
