Abstract EN

The study aimed to examine the reality of the culture of tolerance among youth, identify the actual role of the family in promoting the culture of tolerance among youth, identify the relationship between the level of youth awareness of the concept of tolerance and the level of their practice of tolerance.

The aim is to determine the relationship between the family's role in promoting the culture of tolerance and the level of youth awareness of the concept and the level of their practice of it.

This study is descriptive; it relied on the quantitative and qualitative approaches using the questionnaire and the Delphi method as the two data collection and analysis instruments.

The study uses an intentional sample of youth (204) and (10) experts.

The important findings of the study are : youth awareness of the concept of tolerance is high, their awareness of the problems resulting from poor tolerance practice in society is also high, their reaction to abusive situations is characterized by tolerance and balance, the level of their practice of tolerance is high, the family has a role in promoting a culture of tolerance, there is a relationship between the role of the family in promoting the culture of tolerance and the level of youth awareness of the concept of tolerance and the level of their practice of it.
