Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to reveal variation and contemporary aesthetics in selected iraq theatrical scripts.the research concluded a number of conclusions, the most important of which are: that the relationship between variation and contemporary from an aesthetic point of view is a creative relationship, that reveals the writer’s abilities to mix between the state of consciousness and the formulas that can be expressed through the subject matter of what the theatrical text embodies, and that the mechanisms of contrast it contributes to creating the codes and riddles of the theatrical text, through the fragmentation and dismantling of the characters, events and circumstances surrounding them, a mechanism that highlights their aesthetics through (presence and absence, difference and coalition, destabilization and dedication, marginalization and exclusion).

variation and contemporary mechanisms benefit in embodying and drawing the features of conflicts and contradictions in their structures and deep formations through symbol and semantic condensation, which goes beyond the subject of the text towards raising thorny questions so that the text becomes more like a fragmented mirror of reality.
