The quantitative indicators of traffic accidents are one of the most important indicators, which many countries, especially developed ones, seek to reduce traffic accidents and their negative effects and repercussions on society, by emphasizing traffic procedures and placing traffic signals and controls on highways, including and main, in addition to working on providing a database to find out the number of accidents, places of recurrence and their causes, with an emphasis on updating that data on a continuous basis.

the research included analyzing the data of the study area for the years (2012-2018), and the number of people injured as a result of accidents came in the first place with (720) injured and a rate of (39.5%), property losses came in the number of (379) accidents, at a rate of (20.7%), while the last rank was the number of the dead, which amounted to (268) and at a rate of (14.6%).
