Abstract EN

There are several languages in the world that are unique due to their authority and influence over other languages.

This is due to the fact that such languages stay consistent with modernity, word generation, and life development and are supported by powerful governments in terms of politics, military, and economy, they are able to impose themselves, their words, and their modes of expression on other languages, in contrast to the languages that predominate them, which lack these resources.

As a result, the English language has historically dominated all other global languages.

In this sense, the nations that speak English can benefit from the economics, power, technology, and media's influence due to its bright hues.

Based on this, my research paper, "Linguistic Colonialism and its Consequences, the fact of the Kurdistan Region as an Example," illustrates linguistic colonialism and its effects by painting a picture of the Kurdish language's current state in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the dangers that surround it, as manifested in the tendency toward English and other languages on the account of the national language in schools, media, education, and other fields.
