Contemporary research on religions and religious beliefs is not new.

After the First World War, researchers began to conduct deep studies on these sensitive topics, which have become an integral part of societies across the globe.

The researcher has conducted a scientific academic research on the emergence of Zoroastrianism in Southern Kurdistan.

This religion was officially registered in 2015in the legal provisions of the Kurdistan Region, and they have an official representative in the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.

Religious centers were opened for them in the three northern governorates of Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk, and it became one of the important topics covered by social networks.

Therefore, this study is about Zoroastrianism from 2015.

The researcher has tried to address the reasons for the emergence of Zoroastrian beliefs within these years, and we have studied the intellectual, political and organizational background about the emergence of the new Zoroastrianism.
