Abstract EN

This article aims to study Imam Shafi'I's consensus in Worship and financial transactions in Almuzani's Mukhtasar.

consensus in general has a great status in Sharia, especially if it is attributed to one of the four Islamic Imams such as Imam Shafi'i.

thus, this study comes to highlight this aspect of Imam Shafi’i.

i collected the jurisprudential issues which Imam Almuzani recounted in his Mukhtasar.

i analyzed Almuzani’s Mukhtasar, and interpreted its text, referring to those who agreed with Shafi’i in the issue of consensus.

the importance of the Shafi'i's consensus lies in his status, ability and mentality.

the study employs the analytical inductive approach in collecting the consensual issues, jurisprudentially studying and differentiating between them.

the jurisprudential consensus was also extracted from Almuznai’s Mukhtasar, confining it to the consensus and its verbal derivatives on jurisprudential issues.

the article contains an introduction and two sections.

the introduction presents a brief autobiography of Shafi’i and the meaning of consensus in Sharia.

the first section deals with Shafi’i’s consensus in Worship, which has 10 demands.

the second section tackles consensus in the financial transaction, which has 11 demands.

the study concludes that all the told consensus is correct and fixed.

the reason of including it Almuzani’s Mukhtasar is to demonstrate the choice of his saying and jurisprudence, and to respond to the opponents.
