This article aims to introduce Alkhatib Alsharbini and his approach in his book “Mughkd Almuhtaj ila Ma’rifah Ma’ani Alfadh alminhaj”, its importance and resources.

the book is one of the important interpretations of Nawawi’s approach.

the study employs the historical inductive approach to introduce the author, and the descriptive approach to present his approach.

the findings of the study show that alkhatib is one of the important scholars of shafi'i’s jurisprudence, besides interpretation, linguistics, foundations of jurisprudence and religion, among other sciences.

his father’s name is likely Mohammed.

the author collects, in addition to shafi’i’s jurisprudence, other opinions and doctrines in his book, which was written in a clear language, and simple style, and whose materials were collected from several and different resources.

the book it considered one of three reliable interpretations of Imam Nawawi’s “Minhaj Altalibin”.

however, there are some aspects that have been criticized especially concerning his citations, and the book’s extra length, among others.
